Ron & Jenny Clare acquired the companies first manufacturing facility at 17b Malcolm Rd, Maddington WA |
1992 |
Began distribution of Jarrahdale Wood Heaters to regional WA through a state dealer network |
1996 |
Rowan Clare, son of Ron & Jenny, and now a co-director, began working in the family business |
1997 |
Jarrahdale Wood Heaters tested and approved for emissions and efficiency in a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) approved lab |
2000 |
Acquired 17a Malcolm Rd, Maddington to expanded manufacturing operations and capabilities |

A commitment to continual improvement led to key design modifications for popular wood heater models; Rhapsody, Innovator and Jumbo |
2003 |
Jarrahdale Heating opened its first factory-direct showroom on Albany Hwy in Maddington |

Leon Clare, youngest son of Jenny & Ron, and now a co-director, began working in the family business |

Dealer network for wood heaters expanded Australia wide. The national dealer network now includes Tasmania, South Australia, VIC, NSW and Queensland. |

Brothers Rowan & Leon Clare became Managing Directors of Jarrahdale Heating |

Acquired state-of-the-art CNC Plasma Cutter, used to maximise efficiency and precision during manufacture of wood heaters and evaporative air-conditioning |

A major fire destroyed the Albany Hwy showroom |
2009 |
Proving resilient in the wake of the fire, the Clare family designed and built a new showroom at 17 Malcolm Rd, Maddington |
2010 |
Launch of an innovative new wood heater, the Convector In-Built. Designed with a streamline fascia to fit flush with the wall. |
2012 |
Acquired another factory at 19 Malcolm Rd, Maddington to expand manufacturing and storage capabilities |
2012 |
In response to industry demand for plasma and laser metal cutting, 19 Malcolm Rd expanded its services to include commercial cutting and fabrication under the brand 'RJ Metals' |
2014 |
Acquired state-of-the-art Fibre Optic Laser Cutter to compliment the laser cutter and further advance manufacturing capabilities |
2014 |
Rob Hammond Heating assigned as an official distributor for Jarrahdale Wood Heaters in Tasmania. Tasmanian dealer network now includes 8 authorised agents. |
2015/16 |
All Jarrahdale Wood Heaters re-tested by the AHHA for low emissions after months of research and development to ensure compliance with new regulations |
2016 |
Acquired Water Jet Cutting machinery to compliment the laser and plasma cutting and further advance manufacturing capabilities |
2018 |
Official distributor assigned for Victoria to assist with growth of the Jarrahdale Heating brand in the eastern states |

Warehouse storage capacity improved to increase yearly stockholdings in preparation for peak winter seasons |
